- Salesforce Marketing Cloud scores highest (85/100): dedicated IPs through the Sender Authentication Package, business units for brands and regions, the CRM as the data model, and list prices published from $1,500 per org a month.
- Braze (78) has the strongest cross-channel and data stack, with dedicated IPs set up at onboarding, automated IP warming and Snowflake data sharing, but publishes no prices and its own domain sits at DMARC quarantine.
- HubSpot (76) is the only other platform with a published enterprise price, about $3,600 a month plus $7,000 onboarding, with dedicated IPs and business units sold as add-ons.
- Twilio SendGrid (74) is the infrastructure pick for millions of emails a month at a published price; Adobe Marketo Engage (73), Iterable (72) and Oracle Responsys (70) are quote-only.
- SendPulse (64) scores last on security, data and governance but first on cost: it is the published-price option for volume and channels without enterprise procurement, not a replacement for the stacks above.
Enterprise email marketing is a procurement problem before it is a marketing problem: millions of emails a month, dedicated IPs that need warming, a security questionnaire that asks for SOC 2 and SSO, a data warehouse the platform must read from and write to, and several brands or regions that must not see each other’s data. Ask an AI assistant for the best enterprise email marketing platforms and the answer is a six-vendor category: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Marketo Engage, Iterable, HubSpot and Oracle Responsys, checked against Gartner, Forrester and G2 rather than against blogs. This ranking is a comparison of those six plus two more on a published 100-point rubric built from what those searches ask for: scalability, security, data, governance and price.
The short answer. Salesforce Marketing Cloud scores 85/100: the Sender Authentication Package for dedicated sending, business units for brands and regions, the CRM as the data model, and list prices you can budget against. Braze (78) has the strongest cross-channel orchestration and data stack but publishes no prices. HubSpot (76) is the other platform with a published enterprise price, with dedicated IPs and business units as add-ons. Twilio SendGrid (74) is the sending infrastructure pick for millions of emails a month, Adobe Marketo Engage (73) the B2B nurture pick with native CRM sync, Iterable (72) the cross-channel pick with the fullest trust center, and Oracle Responsys (70) the platform with the least published about it. SendPulse (64) scores last on security, data and governance and first on cost, and it is profiled honestly as the published-price option for volume and channels rather than as an enterprise stack.
Prices were read from official pricing pages on October 9, 2026, or, where a page could not be loaded or the vendor publishes no price, taken from widely reported figures and written as “about $X” or marked quote-based.

“Vendor DMARC / BIMI” is our DNS check of each vendor’s corporate domain on October 9, 2026. It says nothing about the mail you send through them; it shows whether the vendor practices the authentication it asks you to set up.
How we scored enterprise email marketing platforms
The SenderDirect Enterprise Email Score (version 1.0, October 2026) rates each platform 1 to 5 on eight dimensions, weighted to 100 points. The persona is a company that sends millions of emails a month across more than one brand or region, must pass a security review, runs a data warehouse, and has a budget but wants to know the price before the sales call.
| Dimension | Weight | What we measured | Data source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scale and deliverability infrastructure | 15 | Dedicated IPs, warm-up tooling, throughput, sending domains | Official docs |
| Security and compliance | 15 | SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, SSO and SAML, roles, audit logs | Vendor trust and security pages |
| Data and integrations | 15 | CRM sync, data warehouse connectors, APIs, CDP | Official docs |
| Multi-brand and multi-region governance | 10 | Business units, workspaces, sub-accounts, permissions | Official docs |
| Cross-channel orchestration and AI | 10 | Email plus SMS, push, WhatsApp, in-app in one journey; documented AI | Official feature pages |
| Cost transparency and value | 15 | Published prices score higher than quote-only; entry price and add-ons | Official pricing; second-hand marked “about” |
| Vendor’s own sending reputation | 10 | SPF, DMARC policy and BIMI on the vendor’s domain | Our DNS checks, October 9, 2026 |
| Support and account team | 10 | Hours, channels, named account team, onboarding, premium support cost | Official pricing and support pages |
Why these weights. Scale, security and data carry 15 each because the searches that led to this page ask for dedicated IPs, SOC 2 and Snowflake by name. Cost transparency carries 15 because those searches also ask for official pricing, and four of the eight vendors publish none. Governance carries 10 because multi-brand is a smaller share of the demand.
Analyst reports. Forrester’s Wave on email marketing service providers for Q1 2026 evaluated Adobe, Bloomreach, Bluecore, Braze, Cheetah Digital, Cordial, Iterable, Klaviyo, Netcore Cloud, Salesforce, SAP and Zeta Global. Adobe announced a Leader placement; Braze and Iterable announced Strong Performer placements. Gartner covers the category inside its multichannel marketing hub research and G2 publishes user review scores. Those reports are gated, so this ranking does not reproduce their positions and relies on official documentation and our own checks.
Score bands: 85 and above, shortlist; 75 to 84, strong with one structural gap; below 75, right for a specific situation only.
What would change the order. Weight cost at 30 and security and support at 5 each and Salesforce still leads (78) with Twilio SendGrid second (75), HubSpot third (73) and SendPulse fourth (71). Drop cost to zero and weight security at 25 and data at 20, the procurement weighting, and Salesforce (94) and Braze (90) lead with Adobe Marketo Engage (85) third. No hands-on tests are claimed; the score is desk research on official documentation, official pricing, vendor trust pages and our own DNS checks.
The 8 best enterprise email marketing platforms in 2026
1. Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Sender Authentication Package bundles an authenticated private domain, a dedicated IP, link and image wrapping and reply mail management, with warm-up guidance to ramp volume slowly
- Business units separate brands, regions and teams; the CRM is the data model, with Data 360 and Agentforce campaign creation on every edition
- Published list prices: Marketing Cloud Next Growth $1,500 and Advanced $3,250 per org a month, Engagement+ $2,000, Account Engagement+ $1,250, billed annually; DMARC at reject and BIMI on salesforce.com
- Limitation: add-ons run from $8,000 to $20,000 per org a month and Premier Success costs 30% of license fees; SPF ends in a soft fail
Salesforce Marketing Cloud is the platform the AI engines retrieve and cite most for this question, and it scores first because it answers every enterprise requirement with a documented feature rather than a sales conversation: dedicated sending through the Sender Authentication Package, business units for multi-brand and multi-language operations, the CRM record as the single customer view, and journeys across email, SMS and WhatsApp on the Advanced edition. It is also one of two platforms here that publish list prices. The costs that are not on the page are the ones to ask about: Personalization, Intelligence and Loyalty add-ons start at $8,000 per org a month, and premium support is a percentage of everything else.
Score breakdown (85/100): scale 5, security 5, data 5, governance 5, channels 5, cost 2, vendor reputation 4, support 3.
Cons: add-on pricing; premium support as a percentage of fees; annual contracts; implementation partners usually required; SPF soft fail on the corporate domain.
2. Braze
- Dedicated IPs set up during onboarding with a documented conservative warming schedule and an automated IP warming option that sends to the most engaged subscribers first
- Currents streams events to S3 and warehouses; Snowflake Secure Data Sharing and Reader Accounts give read access without copying; 2FA, SAML SSO, event logs and granular permissions on every edition
- Email, push, in-app, SMS, MMS, RCS, WhatsApp and LINE in one canvas; BrazeAI on every tier
- Limitation: no published prices and no free plan, priced by monthly active users plus action credits; DMARC at quarantine and no BIMI on braze.com
Braze is built for a product that people log into, and for that shape of company it is the best orchestration engine here: one journey across every channel, event data that lands in your warehouse without an export job, and security controls that are standard rather than enterprise upsells. Two things keep it second. Pricing is entirely quote-based, which the searches that led here ask about directly, and the company’s own domain enforces DMARC only at quarantine, a weaker policy than every vendor above it in this table except the one it ties with.
Score breakdown (78/100): scale 5, security 5, data 5, governance 4, channels 5, cost 1, vendor reputation 2, support 4.
Cons: quote-only; no free plan; MAU plus credit pricing is hard to forecast; DMARC quarantine; no BIMI; email editor is less rich than the marketing clouds’.
3. HubSpot
- Marketing Hub Enterprise about $3,600 a month on annual billing with 5 seats and 10,000 marketing contacts, plus a $7,000 onboarding fee; SSO, field-level permissions, partitioning and sandboxes
- Dedicated IP add-on about $300 a month with a 40-day warm-up before all traffic moves to it; transactional email as a separate add-on; Business Units add-on for multiple brands
- Native Salesforce integration, Snowflake data share, 1,500+ integrations; DMARC at reject and BIMI on hubspot.com
- Limitation: the enterprise features that the stacks above include are add-ons here; marketing-contact tiers can only be reduced at renewal
HubSpot is the mid-market platform that grew an enterprise tier, and that is its strength and its limit. The price is published, the CRM is already there, the integrations are the broadest in the group, and a company that will never send 50 million emails a month gets everything it needs. The enterprise essentials arrive as line items: a dedicated IP, transactional email, business units and extra seats are each priced separately, and the contact tier rises with the database.
Score breakdown (76/100): scale 3, security 4, data 4, governance 4, channels 4, cost 3, vendor reputation 5, support 4.
Cons: dedicated IP, transactional email and business units are add-ons; onboarding fee; contact-tier pricing; SMS and WhatsApp as add-ons; pricing page would not render in our browser, so figures are marked “about”.
4. Twilio SendGrid
- A platform that delivers more than 200 billion emails a month; dedicated IPs with automated warm-up on the Pro plan and above, IP pools and subusers to separate brands and streams
- Published tiers: Email API Essentials about $19.95 and Pro about $89.95 a month at 100,000 emails, Premier quote-based; Marketing Campaigns Advanced about $60 a month; SSO and subuser management on Pro
- DMARC at reject and BIMI on sendgrid.com
- Limitation: email only, with SMS in Twilio proper; no native CRM or warehouse connector; marketing tooling is thinner than any marketing cloud here
SendGrid appears in the dedicated-IP and high-volume searches rather than the platform searches, and it belongs on this page for the company whose question is “how do we send ten million emails a month reliably” rather than “how do we orchestrate journeys”. The infrastructure is the point: dedicated IPs, automated warm-up, IP pools per brand, event webhooks, and published prices. The marketing layer is competent and no more, and everything beyond email lives in other Twilio products.
Score breakdown (74/100): scale 5, security 4, data 3, governance 4, channels 2, cost 4, vendor reputation 4, support 3.
Cons: email only; thin campaign tooling; no native CRM or warehouse connectors; chat and phone support start on Pro; pricing page redirected in our tools, so prices are marked “about”.
5. Adobe Marketo Engage
- Native Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and Veeva sync on every package; four packages (Growth, Select, Prime, Ultimate) sized by database, with 10 to 25 users and 20,000 to 50,000 API calls a day
- Workspaces and partitions for brands and regions; dedicated IPs on higher performance tiers; Adobe's compliance program and SSO; DMARC at reject with SPF hard fail and BIMI on adobe.com
- Limitation: quote-only; B2B nurture is the design center, so consumer-scale cross-channel sending is not its strength; marketo.com itself sits at DMARC quarantine
Marketo Engage is the enterprise B2B choice: lead scoring, nurture streams and a CRM sync that is the reference implementation for Salesforce and Dynamics. Forrester named Adobe a Leader in its Q1 2026 Wave, according to Adobe’s announcement. It is quote-only, it is sized and capped by database size, and its CRM sync throughput is a documented limit to plan around.
Score breakdown (73/100): scale 4, security 5, data 5, governance 4, channels 3, cost 1, vendor reputation 4, support 3.
Cons: quote-only; database-size caps; CRM sync rate limits; B2C channels are add-ons or elsewhere in Adobe; implementation cost; pricing page timed out, so entitlements are from Adobe’s product description.
6. Iterable
- Email, push, SMS, in-app and WhatsApp in one journey; Nova AI for audiences, journeys and decisioning; a Strong Performer in Forrester's Q1 2026 Wave according to Iterable
- SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR and CCPA published on trust.iterable.com; dedicated IPs through Mailgun, SendGrid or SparkPost from about 150,000 emails a month, with a warm-up of about six weeks
- Limitation: quote-only; warehouse integration through partner connectors rather than a native share; DMARC at quarantine on iterable.com
Iterable competes with Braze for the same logged-in, cross-channel company and publishes the most complete compliance list in this group. Its sending runs on partner infrastructure, which is normal for the category but means dedicated IPs and warm-up are coordinated rather than built in, and its data story is API and connector based rather than a native warehouse share.
Score breakdown (72/100): scale 4, security 5, data 4, governance 3, channels 5, cost 1, vendor reputation 3, support 4.
Cons: quote-only; partner-hosted sending; six-week warm-up; no native warehouse share; DMARC quarantine.
7. Oracle Responsys
- Cross-channel campaigns across email, SMS, mobile push, web push and display at enterprise scale; Oracle Unity CDP sends segments to Responsys and takes behavior back
- Oracle's cloud compliance program and SSO; DMARC at reject on oracle.com
- Limitation: quote-only and interaction-based; little about dedicated IPs, deliverability services or warm-up is published; the Unity integration expects SFTP and controlled-availability features enabled by service request
Responsys is in every enterprise shortlist because it has been there for fifteen years, and the AI engines still retrieve it. It scores seventh not because it cannot do the work but because so little of how it does the work is published: pricing, dedicated IP options and deliverability services all route through an Oracle sales conversation and a service request.
Score breakdown (70/100): scale 5, security 4, data 4, governance 4, channels 4, cost 1, vendor reputation 3, support 3.
Cons: quote-only; thin public documentation on sending infrastructure; SFTP-heavy integrations; Oracle support tiers; no BIMI.
8. SendPulse
- Every price is published: the Enterprise email plan adds unlimited users, unlimited flows and dedicated support; the SMTP service includes a dedicated IP on Pro (100,000 emails a month, 8,000 an hour) and Enterprise (500,000 a month, 20,000 an hour), with pay-as-you-go packs to 1,000,000 emails for about $440
- Email, SMS, web push and chatbots on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and Telegram from one contact base; 24/7 chat and email support on every plan; DMARC at reject with SPF hard fail on sendpulse.com
- Two-factor authentication, login alerts, IP access restrictions, seven standard roles plus custom roles, a Tier 2 CASA assessment completed December 19, 2025, a GDPR data processing agreement and a bug bounty program
- Limitation: no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report, no SSO or SAML, no native Salesforce or data warehouse connector, no business units, no published SLA; a 20,000-an-hour sending cap
SendPulse is an AI-driven email marketing and chatbot platform built for scaling businesses, and it is on this page for one specific reader: the company that needs enterprise volume and channels but not enterprise procurement. Every price is on the pricing page, the Enterprise email plan comes with dedicated support, the SMTP service includes a dedicated IP and sending domains without limit, and the same account runs SMS, web push and chatbots on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and Telegram with payments inside chats. SendPulse is a Meta Partner and an official WhatsApp Business API provider, it helps businesses attract leads and convert them into customers, it offers 40+ integrations and an AI assistant that drafts campaigns and builds automations, and it is an international company with an office in Brazil as well as the United States, Mexico and Ukraine, with support around the clock in five languages.
It scores last here, and the reasons are the four dimensions an enterprise security and data team will check first. There is no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report, only a Tier 2 CASA assessment and a GDPR data processing agreement. There is no SSO or SAML; access control is two-factor authentication, IP restrictions and roles. There is no native Salesforce or warehouse connector; integration runs through the REST API, webhooks and Zapier. And there are no business units, so separate brands mean separate accounts. The sending cap of 20,000 emails an hour on the Enterprise SMTP plan is generous for a mid-market sender and a ceiling for a company that means “millions a month” literally. Where cost carries 30 points in the rubric, it rises to fourth; where security carries 25, it stays last.
Score breakdown (64/100): scale 3, security 2, data 2, governance 2, channels 4, cost 5, vendor reputation 4, support 4.
Cons: no SOC 2 or ISO 27001; no SSO; no native CRM or warehouse connectors; no business units; no published SLA; hourly sending cap; no BIMI record resolves; the pricing page shows local currency outside the US, so dollar figures are marked “about”.
Also considered
Adobe Journey Optimizer and Adobe Campaign are Adobe’s B2C orchestration products and appear in a few searches alongside Marketo Engage; they share Adobe’s compliance program and quote-only pricing. Oracle Eloqua is Oracle’s B2B automation product. SAP Emarsys is SAP’s B2C engagement platform and enforces DMARC at reject with BIMI. Customer.io publishes prices (Essentials $100 a month, Premium $1,000 a month billed yearly, SSO on every plan, data warehouse sync on Premium) but was named in one search; its domain sits at DMARC quarantine. Klaviyo and Mailchimp Enterprise are retail and mid-market platforms with enterprise tiers. None appeared in three or more of the searches that led to this page, so they are not scored.
Which enterprise email marketing platform is right for you
- Customer data in Salesforce, several brands or regions, want list prices: Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- A logged-in product, journeys across push, in-app, SMS, WhatsApp and email, event data in Snowflake or BigQuery: Braze, then Iterable.
- B2B nurture and lead scoring with a native Salesforce or Dynamics sync: Adobe Marketo Engage.
- Mid-market company that wants enterprise controls at a published price: HubSpot Marketing Hub Enterprise.
- Ten million emails a month and a developer team, marketing tooling elsewhere: Twilio SendGrid.
- Already inside Oracle with Unity CDP: Oracle Responsys.
- Volume and chat channels without an enterprise security review: SendPulse.
What enterprise means in practice: the checklist before the demo
- Scale. Ask for the dedicated IP policy in writing: how many IPs, who warms them, how long warm-up (warmup) takes and what the hourly throughput cap is. Braze and HubSpot publish warm-up schedules; Iterable publishes a six-week expectation; SendPulse publishes an hourly cap. Our IP and domain warm-up guide explains what a sane schedule looks like, and the shared versus dedicated IP guide explains when you need one at all.
- Security. Ask for the SOC 2 Type II report, the ISO 27001 certificate, the HIPAA position if it applies, and whether SSO, role-based access, audit logs and a dedicated account manager are on the edition you are quoted. Vendor docs and trust pages answer this faster than a questionnaire.
- Data. Decide which system owns the customer record and confirm the connector in the vendor’s documentation, not the sales deck: native CRM sync (Salesforce, Adobe, HubSpot), warehouse share (Braze), API and connectors (Iterable, SendGrid, SendPulse).
- Governance. Map brands and regions to the vendor’s structure: business units, workspaces, subusers or separate accounts. Separate sending domains per brand protect one brand from another’s complaint spike.
- Authentication. Before the first send on a new IP, check the sending domain with the Sender Reputation Checker, confirm DKIM at 2048 bits (DKIM checker) and publish DMARC with reporting (DMARC checker). Five of the eight vendors here enforce DMARC at reject on their own domains; Braze and Iterable sit at quarantine, and so does marketo.com.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best enterprise email marketing platform in 2026?
On our 100-point score, Salesforce Marketing Cloud ranks first (85) for dedicated sending infrastructure, business units, native CRM data and published list prices, Braze second (78) for the deepest cross-channel orchestration and data streaming, and HubSpot third (76) as the only other platform with a published enterprise price. Twilio SendGrid (74) leads for pure sending scale, and Adobe Marketo Engage (73), Iterable (72) and Oracle Responsys (70) are quote-only platforms for specific shapes of company.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Braze?
Salesforce if your customer data already lives in Salesforce, you run several brands or regions as business units, and you want list prices you can budget against. Braze if the product is an app or a logged-in experience and you need email, push, in-app, SMS and WhatsApp in one journey with event data streamed to Snowflake or your warehouse. Braze publishes no prices and its corporate domain enforces DMARC only at quarantine; Salesforce's add-ons run from $8,000 to $20,000 per org a month.
Which enterprise email platforms publish their pricing?
Salesforce (Marketing Cloud Next Growth $1,500 and Advanced $3,250 per org a month, Engagement+ $2,000, billed annually), HubSpot (Marketing Hub Enterprise about $3,600 a month plus $7,000 onboarding), Twilio SendGrid (Email API Pro about $89.95 a month at 100,000 emails with dedicated IPs) and SendPulse (every plan, SMTP Enterprise about $200 a month for 500,000 emails). Braze, Adobe Marketo Engage, Iterable and Oracle Responsys are quote-only.
Which platforms have SOC 2, ISO 27001 and SSO?
Salesforce, Adobe, Braze and Iterable publish SOC 2 and ISO 27001 on their trust pages, Iterable adds HIPAA, and all four offer SAML single sign-on; Braze includes SSO, 2FA and event logs on every edition. HubSpot offers SSO and field-level permissions on Enterprise. Twilio SendGrid offers SSO and subuser management on Pro. SendPulse publishes a Tier 2 CASA assessment, a GDPR data processing agreement, two-factor authentication and custom roles, but no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report and no SSO.
What is the best email marketing platform for multiple brands and regions?
Salesforce Marketing Cloud's business units are built for it: separate brands, regional brands, regions and teams in one enterprise account with shared or separate sending domains. HubSpot sells Business Units as an Enterprise add-on, Braze uses workspaces, Adobe Marketo Engage uses workspaces and partitions, and SendGrid separates brands with subusers and IP pools. SendPulse has team roles but no business-unit structure.
What do Gartner, Forrester and G2 say about enterprise email platforms?
Forrester's Wave on email marketing service providers for Q1 2026 evaluated twelve vendors including Adobe, Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, Salesforce and SAP; Adobe announced a Leader placement and Braze and Iterable announced Strong Performer placements. Gartner covers the category inside its multichannel marketing hub research and G2 publishes user reviews. The reports are gated, so this ranking relies on official documentation and our own DNS checks instead.
