Using the tools
SenderDirect provides free diagnostic tools that read publicly available DNS and blocklist data. You may use them for any lawful purpose, including checking domains you do not own, for example to research a vendor or a partner.
Acceptable use
- Do not automate the tools at a scale that degrades the service or the third-party resolvers and blocklists they query.
- Do not use results to plan spam, phishing, or any attempt to evade the protections mailbox providers apply.
- Blocklist operators set their own terms for high-volume querying. Respect them.
Embed widget
You may embed the widget on any site free of charge. Keep the "Powered by SenderDirect" attribution visible. We may change or retire widget features with reasonable notice on the widget page.
No warranty
Results reflect DNS as returned by public resolvers at the moment of the check, and our scoring is an estimate. Mailbox providers use private signals we cannot see. The tools and content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and they are not a guarantee of inbox placement.
Content
Guides and articles are for general information. Vendor pricing and features change often; confirm details on each provider's own site before you buy. You may quote short excerpts with a link back. Republishing whole articles requires written permission.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, SenderDirect is not liable for any loss arising from use of the tools or content, including lost email, revenue or data.
